CID Real Estate Transactions

Our primary constituents are CID Homeowners. Although we emphasize the needs of CID Leadership and their fiduciary responsibilities, the market value of all CID homes exceeds $12 Trillion. So even if the average homeowner does not participate in the governance of their community, the decisions made by their board can affect valuations and buyer appeal. Real Estate professionals provide buyers and sellers with an unbiased assessment of a community. Whether it is deferred maintenance in a Florida condominium project or wildfire risk mitigation in the West, a well-informed CID Real Estate Agent can help. Needless to say, we are looking for experienced CID Real Estate professionals, but more so, we are looking for professionals who recognize the need for continuing education regarding the CID Industry. Homebuilders in particular want experienced CID agents to represent them with buyers. With nearly 80% of all new homes built within a CID, it makes sense for builders to hire CID experts. Buyers need to understand how the community association will impact them.

With over one-third of all new and resale transactions in the US being within a CID, few agents have been able to avoid the CID industry; consequently, as advocates for CID property owners, we want well-informed RE professionals. Over the last ten years, we have reached out to recent buyers and sellers, private investors, institutional investors, and homebuilders to identify the challenges experienced by both buyers and sellers.
