One of the biggest challenges facing CID professionals is marketing their services to community associations. Typically, CIDpro marketing consists of networking with other (non-competitor) professionals, hoping to receive a referral to the board of a community seeking your services. Or you work for a company that publishes general marketing information and maintains a website to solicit RFPs. Getting on the RFP short list is the objective. However, if you want the greatest chance of winning the contract, you need personal endorsements. This may come from a professional currently serving the community, but this is rare. On the other hand, if the endorsement comes from a sitting board member or a group of homeowners, your chances increase considerably. This platform is designed for you to brand yourself with the residents. It is up to you to sell your expertise through your profile, articles, and other interactions.
Complete the form below if you provide professional services (including maintenance) to community associations. This includes those who are employed directly by a Community (full-time onsite employees), a portfolio manager, sales reps or those who are currently looking for CID employment. You will be included in a professional directory and your profile will be published and indexed for general internet searches. You will build a mailing list, participate in surveys, publish articles, and case studies. Initially, we are looking for professionals willing to participate in an insurance and risk management study focused on regional risk conditions. Other studies and case studies will focus on other board fiduciary responsibilities. The target market you create will direct your published articles, polls, and forums to the homeowners in your target market.
If you are no longer a practicing CID professional, but you enjoy writing articles about industry issues, you should register as a CID writer. There is no subscription fee. We will help you gather followers. You cannot include solicitations to engage a service.
We create a post for each association. This post is where homeowners connect, where community specific forums are conducted and articles are displayed. Additionally, this posts is where boards can publish details regarding the community needs, including RFPS. Professionals can place a link to their profile and articles. If a community is targeted by a professional, they are the first to be notified of a RFP, when posted.
